Ferrari Inter Tires

Ferrari 166 Inter Tires

The historic Road car 166 Inter Ferrari of 1948 came fitted with 590-15 tires, as did the 195 Inter of 1950. This beautiful car was Ferrari’s first true grand tourer. As a radial equivalent a 165HR15 PIRELLI CINTURATO ™ CA67 is the perfect period fitment offering an almost period tread pattern and the improved directional stability of a radial tire.

The Ferrari 195 Inter also fitted 590-15 bias-ply tires originally. The ideal radial upgrade for this car is the 165HR15 PIRELLI CINTURATO ™ CA67.  However all these coach built vintage Ferrari of this period, every body was slightly different and you might find your body might suit a taller tire. Ferrari 212 Inter Tires

The Ferrari 212 Inter and 212 Export from 1951 and 1952 were equipped with the same 4.5” X 15” RW2841 wheels as the previous 195 Inter; however, they were fitted with larger bias-ply tires of size 640-15. An easy radial alternative for the 212 Inter would be a 165HR15 Pirelli Cinturato CA67, but depending on the car's body, a 185VR15 PIRELLI CINTURATO ™ CA67 is the ideal choice.
