Ferrari 500 Superfast Tires

Ferrari 500 Superfast

The Ferrari 500 Superfast could arguably be one of the most aptly named vintage sports cars. A few vehicles, besides the Ferrari 500 Superfast, could genuinely live up to such a moniker. Evidently, a car of this calibre would require the period's highest-performing tires, which, in the years 1964, 1965, and 1966, were the 205VR15 PIRELLI CINTURATO ™ CN72. Sometimes, these cars might be fitted with 205/70R15 tires, which are notably undersized in diameter. Although the 215/70VR15 Michelin XWX tires might have been the best available option for a period, Pirelli is now producing small batches of the CN72 tires again. This enables vintage Ferraris from this era to restore precise gearing and speedometer readings, with a tire carcass that handles aptly, and naturally fills the wheel arches in the manner the original tires did.
