Early Porsche 911 Tires
When the first Porsche 911 cars evolved from the 356 they maintained the same tire size of 165HR15. One of the original equipment 165R15 Porsche tires with the early 911 was a Pirelli 165HR15. Today Pirelli produce the 165HR15 PIRELLI CINTURATO ™ CA67 which is a perfect early Porsche 911 tire, or for that matter a Porsche 912 tire or Porsche 356 tire. In 1968 Pirelli developed the CN36 tire, Pirelli also now make a 165VR15 PIRELLI CINTURATO ™ CN36 N. This is N homologated by Porsche themselves as the perfect V-speed-rated Porsche tires for their early 911.

Porsche 930 Tires
The early Porsche 930 (sometimes called a 911 Turbo) 3.0 Carrera & 930 Turbo cars fitted 205/50VR15 PIRELLI CINTURATO ™ P7 N on the front and 225/50VR15 PIRELLI CINTURATO ™ P7 N on the rear. Then the later 930 Turbo & the 930 Carerra “Turbo Look“ Porsche moved to 16” wheels and fitted 205/55YR16 PIRELLI CINTURATO™ P7 N and 225/50YR16 PIRELLI CINTURATO™ P7 N tires on the rear between 1978 and 1985.
Then in 1985 they increased the 930's rear wheels and tires to 245/45YR16 PIRELLI CINTURATO™ P7 N.
