285/40R15 Classic Tires

285/40VR15 PIRELLI CINTURATO P7 – PIRELLI has produced the CINTURATO P7 tire in the 285/40VR15 size again, a critical original equipment tire for the front of the later wide-body De Tomaso Pantera which also fitted 345/35VR15  tires on the rear. These 285/40R15 classic tires are also a perfect option for the rear of the Porsche 911S cars of the 1970s which are fitted with wide rear wheels. The tire is labelled a 285/40VR15 PIRELLI CINTURATO P7   to look as it did in period for historical authenticity but is actually “Y” rated to 186 mph, and this can be seen on the smaller inscription on the tire sidewall.
