Introduced in 1952, the PIRELLI CINTURATO, meaning “belted,” was the pioneering radial tire tailored for sports cars. The Cinturato with the CA67 tread pattern became the preferred choice for premier sports cars during the 1950s and 1960s, setting a new performance standard for the era and improving the output of the cars that utilized it. The 185 R15 classic tire size serves as a radial counterpart to the 6.40 – 15 and 6.70 – 15 crossply tires.
