265/50VR16 PIRELLI CINTURATO P7
$699.00
Description
The 265/50VR16 is an extremely rare and unusual tire size. The Ferrari Testarossa up until 1986 came with 415mm metric wheels. The Michelin TRX 280/45VR15 tires were fitted to those millimetric wheels. The Michelin 280/45VR415’s are no longer available. As a result Ferrari also offered a 16” wheel set up as an alternative. The homologated Pirelli tire for these 16” wheels was 265/50VR16 Pirelli Cinturato P7 on the rear and a 225/50VR16 P7 on the front.
Pre 1986 Pirelli made the 265/50 VR16 Pirelli Cinturato P7 and 225/50VR16 Cinturato P7. They are correct Ferrari 288 GTO tires. If you look at this period fitment guide you will note * where it says “ * = Pirelli tires approved by vehicle manufacturer for original equipment.”
