Originally, the 155 HR 15 PIRELLI CINTURATO ™ CA67 tire held an S speed rating, indicating its approval for speeds reaching up to 112 mph (180 km/h). This tire was referred to as the 155 SR 15 Pirelli Cinturato ™ CA67. However, in recent years since the tire has been reproduced, alterations in speed rating standards prompted its redesignation as an H-rated tire, permitting speeds of up to 130 mph (209 km/h). Consequently, the new tire was renamed the 155 HR 15 PIRELLI CINTURATO ™ CA67.

Not many cars utlized the size 155R15 as original, but the fact that virtually every Alfa Romeo Giulietta that left the factory came with 155HR15 CA67 Pirelli tires, justifies Pirelli continuing to make its CINTURATO ™ in the size 155HR15 today.
