The Longstone 400/450X18 tire was built using an original 450X18 tire as a pattern. Today as the years have gone by tires have tended to get bigger as people’s perceptions have been that bigger is better. Of course if a bigger tire would have suited the Austin 10 Austin would have fitted one. So at Longstone tires we would encourage you to fit this correct sized 450X18 tire to an Austin 10. (it is called a 400/450×18 tire because it is also similar in size to some of the current 400X18 tires. however it is a correct 450X18)
